Diving Experience
- Richard started his commercial diving career in 1986. Richard is also one of the first Instructors awarded GUE Instructor status and have been a supporting member of the WKPP since 1997
- 4000+ dives including cold water dives, wreck dives, technical dives, dives using stage deco techniques, dives using specially mixed gases, cave dives and dives using diver propulsion vehicles ( Gavin DPV's) and more
Community Involvement
- Britannic 1997 and 1999 project leader, camera diver and exploration diver
- 1995. Started Scandinavian technical diving group "Baltic Sea Divers" that is involved in many projects exploring mines and caves in Sweden, Norway and Finland
- Did the longest cave dive ever done in Scandinavia during 1997 in arctic conditions
- Worked for the BBC videoing the famous submarine M1 in 1999
- Worked with side scan sonar on the Spanish gold galleons outside Key West in 2000
- Leader of the project - the search for the admirals fleet. Have so far located more than 40 wrecks in the search area. Project still active
