Japanese national television features M.C.E.P divers

On March 12, 13 ,14 and 18, NHK (Japan National Broadcasting) shot video footage of the Ox Bel Ha cave system and conducted interviews with MCEP (Mexico Cave Exploration Project) divers as principal explorers of this, the world’s longest underwater cave system. CINDAQ (Centro Investigador del Sistema Aquifero de Quintana Roo A.C.) and Zero Gravity Dive Center facilitated the logistics. In order to integrate with the team and to improve their underwater skills, the underwater camera team completed GUE training in Japan prior to their trip to the Yucatan Peninsula.
