Wakulla Springs-Leon Sinks Cave System Poster- 24x36"
The Wakulla Springs and Leon Sinks cave systems have been the primary focus of the Woodville Karst Plain Project's exploration efforts over the last two decades. The WKPP's work at Wakulla was the genesis of DIR diving and represents one of the most significant ongoing dive exploration projects ever undertaken. One of the primary reasons for the formation of the WKPP was to connect the Wakulla and Leon Sinks Cave Systems. On July 28, 2007 the WKPP was able to connect these two cave systems forming the largest underwater cave system in North America and the fourth largest in the world. GUE has created a commemorative map in two sizes to honor one of the most significant connections in cave diving history. This full size 24x36" poster is printed in full color on glossy poster stock.
